The new Web Site is at www.canalzonestudygroup.com. It is linked to the older CZSG web site at: stampshows.com/czsg.html (also obtainable at czsg.org). The older site will be closed in September.
Meetings:
ARIPEX 2006 CZSG Meeting in Mesa AZ on 11 February 2006 had 4 attendees with David Leeds as "Honorary Chairman" for the meeting with 4 attendees. Postal stationery discoveries continue. An article on CZ was accepted by Scott's Monthly Journal.
WESTPEX 2006 CZSG Meeting was the 37th annual meeting at WESTPEX. It was held in San Francisco, 29 April at the show hotel near San Francisco International Airport. Dick Salz reported that he had run out of new copies of the definitive book Canal Zone Stamps after 20 years. Tom Brougham said the 2006 Mail Sale is proceeding at a proper pace. There were 16 members in attendance.
PHILATELIC SHOW 2006 CZSG Meeting in Boxborough MA - 6 May was chaired by Bill Fall. The 8 members in attendance decided to proceed with the establishment of a Northeast Chapter of the CZSG. Business will be conducted, and occasional newsletters will be sent by E-mail. Articles of general interest should be sent to Bill Fall a wfall@hvc.rr.com. Judy Conroy agreed to serve as Recording Secretary. At the show, only one Canal Zone exhibit was shown. It was an air mail exhibit by Alan Bentz, entitled Cristobal CZ - Air Mail Hub to Latin America. It won a vermeil, and the first William F. Turner Memorial Award presented by the Metropolitan Air Post Society.

APS StampShow 24-27 August in Rosemont IL. The CZSG meeting will be held on 26 August at 2 PM at the Stephens Convention Center.
